Everything has been conceived with the purpose of keeping this balance, reliability and versatility that were the main aim as philosophy form the begining. |

Neck
Every stringed instrument of quality begins in its neck. It should be comfortable, soft, homogeneous and solid. That’s why; the necks of our instruments are made of Graphite. This material doesn’t have any problem with density as it happens with wood. It respects the behaviour of the strings in any of its zones.
The truss rod, of Titanium and Steel, assures its adjustment independently of the time passed among adjustments.
Its subjection is realized by means of screws that are screwed in metallic females inserted on the neck. It allows removing it as often as we need without any deterioration.
These elements insulate the neck avoiding the mixing of the harmonics generated by the neck and the bridge giving to the instrument cleanliness and a transparent sound never heard before. So, the Weisse Hügel team has chosen a different system instead of the thru-neck or set-neck. Since these systems provoke that the strings, depending on the zones of the neck, sound different.
Weisse Hügel doesn’t use the popular Bolt-on-neck either, because we have noticed that this system helps to create double notes on the lowest strings besides muffling the sound. These false harmonics are more present in the lowest notes and below the twelfth fret.
If an instrument doesn’t sound clear, cannot be amplified, processed or distorted correctly, since the basic sound doesn’t have the necessary clarity. In these cases, the only thing that we are going to get is to worsen it. |

Bridge
In Weisse Hügel there are two different modalities of guitars: 1: With fixed bridge and 2º: With tremolo. Those of fixed bridge, incorporate bridges of Carbon Fiber Schaller's "Hannes".
Why? Simply: Its reliability and precision. It allows us to adjust the height and the tuning of each string, since it has individual adjustments for these purposes besides providing to the instrument of a spectacular "Sustain" thanks its shape of platform.
In case of Weisse Hügel, we set it up inlaid in the front and in the back of the guitar.

It becomes the instrument in a perfect resonator, especially if we have present that the strings of the guitar must be set across a metal bar inserted into the body which works as a diaphragm.
These bridges are made of Carbon Fibre so they are stainless and don’t have any edge that avoid break of strings multiplying the duration of these.
The floating tremolos are Kahler. The above mentioned tremolos allow, as the Hannes, the individual adjustment of the strings. Their assembly in diaphragm respects the wood too. It includes micro-tuning and rollers in the saddles to improve the slide. The bar, is anchored behind the saddles. This makes that the tuning doesn’t suffer any alteration when the musician rests his hand on the bridge to play palm-muting. Furthermore, and in spite of being a floating tremolo, Strings can be set without cutting the ball-end. |

Nut
The nut, "Earvana" system in the guitars, consists of two parts: One synthetic (Superior) and other one of “Graphtech". The displacement of the points of support of every string, allows a tuning much more precise at the first fret. Especially complicated and unsatisfactory.
Its subjection is carried out by means of small screws. This makes its adjustment or its substitution easier in case of accident.
The angle of friction is calculated in order that every string "rests" without any problem of hooking or rubbing. That’s why the form of the head and the distribution of the machine head. (4+2).
Another of Weisse Hügel's contribution in the search of the perfect guitar is the new concept of setting "pickups". This system avoids the typical "fall", as well as the break of the traditional frames provoked by their weight. |

Electronics
The electronics, completely shielded in its receptacles and optimized by means of lined cables with aluminium, is really noiseless. The wood of the body is grounded too and it helps to the purity of the sound. It is necessary to keep in mind that the wood is porous, and the humidity can provoke static noises because it becomes conductive. |

The Volume and Tone “pots” are of "Push/Pull" type. They allow to play with "Simple / double" and " Out of phase " formats, useful in case of Weisse Hügel, since it’s not always possible to take advantage of the result of these modalities.
In every "Custom" instrument, the electronics is a personal choice. Weisse Hügel is not an exception although it has its own that makes it more especial than it is. An exemplary behaviour in all the ways must have its own identity.
As we can realize, every detail to improve of traditional instruments have been solved. From the strap lock system (Dunlop Flush Out) which avoids bags and cases deterioration because it doesn’t protrude of their zones of anchorage, to the density, nobility and stuck in zipper ("Finger Joint" System ) of the different types of wood used. All of this makes of Weisse Hügel a great instrument for the best performers. Please, just try them. |

| Basses |

Neck
All the necks of the basses WH, as those of the guitars, are made of one block of graphite. Their adjustment is realized by means of Titanium and steel truss-rot. This one only must be realized to optimize the final touch of the action of the instrument, since the Graphite is an inalterable material solid and homogeneous.
The subjection is common to all the instruments WH.
The system Weiss Set ™ eliminates the problems of sustain and response caused by the "Effect of cancellation” in different points of the neck.
The number of screws and insulating depends on the size of the heel, according to the number of the strings.
The basses, unlike the guitars, mount only nuts of Graphtech since they are much more tolerant in their tuning.
The machine head is auto-lubricated Schaller. It’s precise in its behavior and solid in its manufacture. |

Electronics
The Electronics combines the best of the active technology and of the passive one.
Equipped with passive Pickups Delano (Simple or double coil depending on the model) and a three band active pre-mixer Delano Opera 3 (It’s possible to change the middle frequencies using the mini-switches set in the circuit) The basses WH can adapt to any musical style since they possess, in addition, an exclusive low pass filter and commutations for single/double coil and out of phase.
All this allows acceding to an incredible variety of sounds that makes them really special.
The shielding of cables and receptacles is total and, as the guitars, the WH basses have the body grounded too to eliminate parasites and statics provoked by the dampness of the air.
The substitution of the battery is easy, and in its case is placed in the cover of the enclosure of the electronics. |

Bridge
Weisse Hügel uses two types of bridge: ABM and Schaller 2000.
The first one, because of its solidity and density. The second one, because of the possibility that offers of modifying the distance between the strings. |
